**General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Contracts from Orders at Painting Sociologist**
1. **Validity**
Unless otherwise stated, you can order the items and services offered in our shop system shop.painting-sociologist directly there. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed in writing or online. After an online order, you will receive an order confirmation, which is not an order confirmation and does not yet establish a purchase contract. The purchase contract is concluded upon the dispatch of an order confirmation or the delivery of the goods by Painting Sociologist.
2. **Minimum Order Value**
We accept your order without a minimum order value.
3. **Prices**
All prices are stated in Euro and include the applicable value-added tax for Germany, unless otherwise stated. The prices shown in the shop system at the time of the order apply, subject to any accidentally incorrect information.
4. **Shipping Costs**
I charge a flat shipping fee of €6.90 per order for deliveries within Germany. For orders over €120.00, delivery within Germany is free of charge. For deliveries to European Union countries and Monaco, we charge a flat shipping fee of €16.00.
5. **Delivery, Pickup**
Currently, we only deliver within Germany and to European Union countries and Monaco. The delivery of your order is made by DHL.
6. **Warranty/Guarantees**
For all defects in the purchased item that occur during the statutory warranty period, you have the choice of the statutory claims for subsequent performance, rectification of defects, or delivery of a new item, as well as – if the legal requirements are met – further claims for reduction or withdrawal, and in addition, claims for damages, including the replacement of damages instead of performance and the reimbursement of your futile expenses. Damages due to normal wear and tear or improper use are excluded from the warranty. The right of withdrawal is regulated in Section 7 of our General Terms and Conditions, which we reproduce here:
7. **Right of Withdrawal**
If the buyer is a consumer, there is a right of withdrawal for ordered goods, which I will inform you about here. A consumer within the meaning of the German Civil Code (BGB) can only be a natural person who concludes a legal transaction, such as a purchase contract. The transaction must not be attributable to a commercial or self-employed professional activity. Legal entities or entrepreneurs within the meaning of the BGB are not consumers.
*Cancellation Policy*
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period for training courses is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract, which occurs with your order.
The withdrawal period for goods orders is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods. In the case of delivery of your order by multiple shipments, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods or partial shipment.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
*Consequences of Withdrawal*
If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which I am informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. I will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. I may withhold reimbursement until I have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to me without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to me. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
